Dale Pendell (1945-2018) was the visionary, award-winning author of the Pharmako trilogy—a literary, shamanic, and pharmacological study of psychoactive plants—and nearly twenty other publications. A memorial celebration was held for Dale on April 14, 2018, at the North Columbia Schoolhouse Cultural Center.
Norman O. Brown (1913-2002) was an American scholar, writer, and social philosopher.
